Clearfield County has moved into the Substantial category for the second consecutive week as of November 20th. The PA Dept. of Education recommends that schools move to full remote learning when this happens. Therefore, for the safety of our students and staff, our last day of in person learning will be November 25th . We will begin virtual classes following the Thanksgiving Holiday on Tuesday, December 1st. We will continue to analyze the local data and determine when it is safe to resume in person classes. With the rising number of cases in our area though, we all need to be prepared for the possibility of remote learning extending through the Christmas Holiday and into 2021.
This was a tough decision for us to arrive at. Our only desire is to protect our students, school families, faculty, and staff.
Please keep us in your prayers as we continue to make these difficult decisions for our school.
