More Ways to Give

Thank you for your consideration in supporting the St Francis School! The support of donors is vital to our success in carrying out our mission.

There are many ways that you can support SFS! Whether you would like to make a one-time donation, check out upcoming fundraising events, learn more about the EITC program for business tax credits, or place a Raise Right order to go towards your child’s tuition there is information here to help you make an informed decision.

Educational Improvement Tax Credit

Through the Diocese of Erie, St. Francis School participates in the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit program, which provides tuition assistance to many of our students. This program allows some types of businesses to claim 75% to 100% tax credit on their state taxes for donations given to St. Francis School. We encourage all eligible businesses to please support our school through this program. To learn more, contact your accountant or click here for information online.

You may also call the school at 814-765- 2618 and we can explain this program to you in more detail.

Adopt a Book

Honor someone who has passed by adopting a book for our SFS library. A special notation will be placed inside the cover of the book designating that it is in memory or in honor of your loved one. You can also choose to have your name listed as the donor as well. Books can be chosen by our librarian, or you can ask for a specific type of book. For example, you may want to honor a sports fan with a book about the Pittsburgh Steelers, or a cookbook in memory of  your grandmother.

Please contact our school librarian, Mrs. Shannon Kelly, to make arrangements to adopt a book or to ask any questions you may have. She can be reached at the school at 814- 765-2618, or by email at  .

Raise Right

With Raise Right (formerly called Scrip), you purchase gift cards at face value and your coordinator orders those cards from RaiseRight and local businesses at a reduced price. The difference is an instant rebate that you can be gifted to the school or donated as tuition credits to a family of your choice to reduce their tuition bill for the following school year. RaiseRight offers more than 700 of the country’s biggest retailers and over 30 local businesses, including grocery, department stores, gas stations, restaurants, hotels, home improvement, and more.

Please contact Sheila Clancy, RaiseRight Coordinator at St Francis School at  or 814-765-2618 ext 214 to start putting your shopping dollars to work.
